This blog used to be about my time spent in Nicaragua in the United States Peace Corps (’14 – ’16). I am now a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and an Associate in the Future Leaders Program of Olam International, a global agri-commodities company. I will continue to make posts in the blog about my experiences at work and around the world with Olam, any personal travel experiences I have, and other political/cultural thoughts that I feel are noteworthy. I hope to post journal entries as well as photos and videos.
A little bit about me:
I’m from New York, but I was living in DC for two years before accepting the offer from the Peace Corps. In DC I was a Financial Services Consultant. I liked the job and I traveled a lot, which I enjoyed as well, but a desire to do something a bit more helpful for the world and to live abroad compelled me to make the change.
After the Peace Corps I spent two years in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I was an MBA Candidate at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. I graduated in May 2018.
